Britain makes peace in 1940 anyway it can reenter a war with Germany

Say Britain makes peace with Germany and Italy after Dunkirk and Germany and Co invade the Soviet Union in May of 1941

Anyway Britain could reenter the war against the Axis while the Axis are fighting the Soviets

Would France be willing or able to reenter a war against Axis

When there's a will...

A neutral Britain is entirely entitled to sell strategic raw materials (as opposed to finished tanks) to the Soviet Union, and can send them to any Soviet port they choose. While that's a right of a neutral power, the Germans are likely to take a very dim view of this. Accidents at sea happen, declaration of war ensues.

... Would France be willing or able to reenter a war against Axis

Petains original core policy was to purse anything that would restore the power of France. If returning to war with Germany promised to do that he'd have resorted to it. It was like the response the US Ambasador to France received in discussions with the French in early 1942. 'If you come with three divisions we will fight you. If you come with twenty divisions we will join you."
