Britain foreign policy if this comes to pass?

Apparently this plan is on wikipedia not sure if it is accurate but here's the link

Supposed map of what France wanted in 1915 as war goals.

I can see Britain objecting but if there is an entente victory somehow in 1915 they would be isolated as it would be Russia and France voting against them at the peace conference (and no US).

So basically we have a monstrous Russia and no German counterbalance. Are the Brits going to be kicking themselves for empowering an even less liberal and more autocratic state then Germany? Also France is looking a bit too powerful to. What happens if Russia and France gang up on Britain next? Alliances seemed to change pretty quick back then.

Seriously though Britain is lucky this didn't happen and Russia collapsed (which no one really predicted before the war, everyone thought it was the stronger partner compared to France).

It seems they should have maybe thought their alliances through a bit more carefully. Maybe Anglo-German alliance would have been a safer option? Or at least neutrality. Since Germany-Austria vs France-Russia might have been a better balance of power on the continent without Britain making it too one sided. I mean Britian might have served the balance of power better by being neutral rather then taking anyone's side.

Its not an accurate map, or at the very least it is highly misleading. This is what the French political party Action Française proposed in 1915, not the French government.
They were powerless and have no influence over French policy. I don't even know if they had parliamentary seats in 1914, but if so it was very low. Their newspaper in 1914 had all of 30,000 subscribers.
The French government never imagined breaking up Germany in any of its policies, the furthest they ever got was some territorial claims on the Rhineland (and even that was tentative and often changed).

Given the huge population difference between France and Germany, Britain might not be too concerned about the expansion of France's borders on that map. It doesn't take all of the Rhineland and doesn't extend along the Channel coast, which is what Britain feared most.

In the long term it might find the Russian expansion more alarming, not just in Europe but in the Ottoman Empire and Persia, especially if in the absence of Germany, the Great Game kicks off again.

I like how Austria maintains its multiethnic character with all those Czechs and Hungarians it gains and all the Germans it loses. Also, WTF is going on in the Ottoman Empire?

ANy peace with Russia still in the game will be a squatters peace. France and Russia will grab what they want and dare someone to push them out- which no one will do. Seriously doubt the map of Austria. The Russians are taking a lot more and Romania gets nothing in 1915- except maybe annexed to Russia

Now, do the French and Russians split up the rump Germany or do they keep it united? Splitting it means absolute security for France but Russia might not like that. A united rump Germany would be a threat to France but not themselves. This would keep France dependent on them which would be nice

The real question is who gets the Austrian and German navies? In 1915, they would probably be split by France and Russia. Britain might get a third but that means someone wants British help
