Breaking the Virginia dynasty

WI William Crawford decided to run for the Democratic-Republican nomination in 1816 and defeated James Monroe? The presidential election would pretty much be his at this point, since the Federalists were in disarray.
 
I think the (previous) thread consensus was that Crawford's terms are basically like Monroe's OTL ones. Monroe wins in '24, and most likely '28 unless he doesn't run again due to age. If he does, he dies in office.

The significant thing is that this butterflies away the presidencies of JQ Adams and Jackson.

I'm not sure Jackson is going to be that easy to butter away
