Boudica, Queen of the Britons

As a historical figure, Boudecia, who led an uprising against the Romans during the First Century A.D., remains somewhat obscure when compared to other figures of the period and indeed was largely forgotten until the Victorian era. She almost persuaded Nero to abandon Britain, so, my question is...WI she had? Would she have been a successful ruler, or would Britain have fallen into tribal warfare?

Now if only she coulda been around to keep the Jutes and Saxons out...........LOL. :D

TBH, Boudica wasn't even the most powerful of the Briton Queens. That was Cartimadua, Queen of the Brigantes, a more pro-Roman ruler.

However, it seems likely that if, for example, the battle of Watling Street went differently, or some other reason arises that results in the victory becoming likely, Cartimadua would probably join Boudica in open revolt. The possibility of a 'High King/Queen of Briton' may come about as a result of this, with the title moving between various rulers like the Irish one did.

Simple have the battle of Watling street end in complete and utter defeat for the Romans. With the main roman force in Britain wiped out maybe Nero would think twice before trying to invade Britain again,'Come on he will most likely think what the use in seizing a freezing Islannd in the middle of Nwhere with a heathen relegion better to crush the Persians and take the fertile lands of Mesopatamia, Why waste all that manpower on such a stupid Country.... This might actually work but I forsee immense butterflies in the future...:):)
