Bose in the USSR

WI Subhas Chandra Bose had not died in an air crash in Taiwan but made it to the Soviet Union? Would Stalin keep his presence secret, a possible ace up his sleeve WRT India? Would he, on the contrary, provide him with an international soapbox? Would he, in either case, allow Bose to return to India when the Raj comes to an end? Would the British block the repatriation of Soviet citizens in their custody to force the surrender of Bose?

This is assuming Bose actually did die in Taiwan and that he intended to reach the Soviet Union, both of which I had assumed to be uncontroversial facts before reading the (quite obviously biased) Wikipedia article on him.

Interesting scenario. Assuming Stalin has no reason to liquidate him, Bose could be a pawn for treating with the British. Maybe, if the Soviets do not have an idea about what to do with Bose, they simply they haul him to Austria in exchange for the collaborationist Cossack chiefs. The British could hang him, but this would likely unleash a major revolt in India and actually anticipate independence.
