Books on the 17th century, thirty years war

OKay I was looking at trying to do something that isn't always done here and that being the thirty years war. I just read the Thirty Years was by C.V Wedgewood and I Noticed a number of places where history could have been changed for both better and worse but before trying such an undertaking I wanted to know what would be some other good books from the era that could help me out?

bumping, I really would like some suggestions interesting area full of intrigue and backstab, just need some more resources so that I can fully research the era.
