Booker T. Washington Lynched in 1881

so I have been reading a book on Booker T. Washington, it noted how much lynching was going on around Tuskegee, which got me thinking, what if Booker T. Washington was lynched for starting a black school, Tuskegee is still born how is history changed?

Well, I guess WEB Dubois just lost his biggest rival among the black intellectuals. Perhaps his "Talented Tenth" proposal outlives Washington's policy of accommodation towards Southern whites and his endorsement of practical/vocational training over higher education.
