Bo Knows! A Nebraska football timeline

So I was just thinking the other day that i've always wanted to do a sports timeline related to one of my favorite teams, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and since they've struggled this year, i've wondered what would have happened if their former coach Bo Pelini had won a conference title at some point and what effects it would have had. So anyway here it goes. Feel free to give me some hints and ideas.

BO KNOWS! A NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS TIMELINE

December 5th, 2009- Cowboys Stadium, Arlington TX.

Colt McCoy scrambled for an extra second. He looked to see if anything was open. Time was certainly against the Longhorns, who were only a field goal away from going to their second National Title game of the decade. The Nebraska Cornhuskers however, stood in the way. Cornhusker DT Ndamukong Suh had been a force and now Texas was paying for it.

The clock then hit zero and McCoy threw the ball away. It was a stupid decision. Pretty soon the Cornhuskers were running onto the field. No flags, no penalties, no reviews. It was over. Nebraska was now ready to head to the BCS with a conference title in hand for the first time since 1999.

Though many Texas fans were frustrated by this, Nebraska fans couldn't be more ecstatic. Texas had long been the thorn in the side to Nebraska, preventing a conference title in 1996 and a national title in 1999. But for now, it seemed as if Nebraska had exorcised some of their demons against the Burnt Orange and White.

Cornhuskers to accept bid to accept a Fiesta Bowl bid vs Boise. TCU to head to Orange Bowl.

After Winning their first Big 12 title since 1999, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are heading to Arizona. The Cornhuskers accepted the big today after winning the Big 12 championship last night in Arlington TX, and will face a challenge against the undefeated WAC champion, the Boise State Broncos. Many fans had hoped that the Orange Bowl would be a likely destination for the Cornhuskers, though the Big 12 champ in past seasons had gone to the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale Arizona. Instead the TCU horned frogs will play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Miami. As for the one loss Longhorns, they will be heading to New Orleans to play the Florida Gators in the Sugar Bowl. When asked for comment, coach Bo Pelini said he was "excited for the challenge" of playing Boise State.

Though I'm not sure about the Huskers staying put in the Big XII

You would basically need Texas to not be Texas to keep them in.

What about the AAU situation. The Big Ten might not want a school recently kicked out of the AAU. Apparently Delaney always wanted Rutgers for some reason.

I did toy with the idea of Mizzou, Nebraska and either Rutgers or Kansas joining but i didn't think Kansas would leave Kansas State. Notre Dame would never join the Big Ten though
