blah,blah,blah, Timeline Ideas

Ok, I have a handfull of timeline ideas I thought I'ld run by you. Note that my specialty is American History, so they will tend to be about that. I've introduced one or two of these ideas before, but now they are more thought out.

Empire of Liberty: Thomas Jefferson wins the 1796 presidential election. America expands beyond its OTL borders. There is no civil war. The slavery issue is handled better. This could sort of be defined as an Ameriwank.

A Republic, if you can keep it: this is a very vague idea, less an Idea then a title I thought sounded cool. America goes down the same path as Rome(as if it's not already). Or, here's a concept I haven't seen done, a DBWI timeline. Just a thought

A Long and Flowing Whig: Basically, the Whigs survive and the Democratic party breaks up. PoD is either Andrew Jackson dies by assasination in 1835, or William Henry Harrison lives through his presidency and probably gets a second term. Possibly both PoDs.

Fashoda Waltz: The Fashoda Crisis turns into war, and ends up merging with the Spanish American War(working on the details). Eventually resulting in the disolving of Anglo-French relations and the two opposing each other in a great war analog.

The Promissed Land: A Mormon Timeline. The Mormons go all the way out to California, specifically the Central Valley, and end up gaining independence from Mexico as New Israel.

One of my timelines vaguely follows Option 2, with America starting to become imperial after the Civil War and collapsing in the early 22nd century. It's downright ASB, though.
