I wouldn't make too much of things like shared birthdays - remember it only takes a group of 23 for the chances of a shared birthday to be over 50%.

One significant coincidence is the lunar eclipse just as the Athenian expedition was about to leave Sicily. Had it been one night later, they might have escaped with their forces still intact, but at Nicias' insistence they stayed put, with disastrous results.
 
Funny one, James Wilkes Booth’s older brother , Edwin Booth, saved Robert Todd Lincoln’s life one year before the younger Booth killed his father, Abraham Lincoln.
Not to mention that Junius Booth, their father, wrote a letter threatening to assassinate President Jackson in 1835!
