Here's a simple question, would it be possible to butterfly away to medieval warm period or the little ide age, or does that count as ASB? I mean weather is the source of the Butterfly Effect, but are those larger climatic shifts too big for a (non-industrialised) society to mess with?
Actually, it's been seriously suggested that significant expansion in coal-burning that the Industrial Revolution caused did have some warming effect on at least western Europe's climate.
