Better Outcome of the Greco-Turkish War

Here's my idea of what a Greek Victory in the Greco-Turkish War would have resulted in - most of the areas with a significant Greek population united into one nation, with a capital at Constantinople.

Population exchanges, like OTL, would take place, but obviously this time they would be much more favorable to the Greeks.

What do you guys think?

I think the area around Trebizond is a bridge too far - more likely that goes to rump Turkey and the residents are resettled in Asia Minor and Thrace.

If the Greeks start to win, the Sultan would appeal to the Tsar. After they secure the straits the Russians order the Greeks home or they will burn Athens to the ground. There is no way that the Greeks are getting control over the Straits or Constantinople let alone territory in Asia or on the Black Sea

The Tsar isn't in any position to do, well, much of anything, since he's kinda dead.

Tsar?
Perhaps you are forgetting the Russian revolution..

Ok. what Greco-Turkish war are you talking about? You have a map labled 1900
I used a map of the distribution of Greeks in 1900 as the base.
I highly doubt Russia would side with the Turks over their fellow Orthodox Christians, especially if Greece was friendly towards the new USSR govt.

I'm also working on a version of this that includes Armenia and Assyria.

Map seems more or less legit, but the scenario it represents is a hard Greece-wank.

As for the USSR being friendly towards the Greeks, that certainly won't be the case...the USSR had already befriended the Turkish nationalists and sided with them against the Armenians; Christian solidarity was the last thing on its mind.

In terms of fairness, I think Greece's modern OTL borders with a little bit more of Thrace and all of Cyprus would be the most "fair". No matter what, population exchanges will be required though.
