Bernardo de Galvez dead in 1775

I'm thinking about a "Britain retains Florida/Deep South timeline" and thought the simplest way would be to just have the extremely competent Galvez die in the Algerian expedition of 1775 and his 'replacement' not being successful in West Florida.

But where I'm just not knowledgeable enough is the impacts of no Galvez in the Caribbean, New Spain and the Spanish Empire. Heck, I'm still working on the impact of no Galvez on the American revolution.

So...any thoughts or comments on Galvez would be greatly appreciated.
