Beria's alleged words to Rakosi at the Kremlin after Stalin's death, warning Rakosi to accept the Kremlin's new "collective leadership" line:

“Listen, comrade Rakosi, we know that Hungary has had Hapsburg Emperors, Tartar Khans, Polish Princes, Turkish Sultans...but as far as we know, she has never yet had a Jewish king. And that is what you are trying to become. AHC: An actual Jewish king of Hungary. I suppose one way would be to have the Magyars converted to Judaism under Khazar influence and then retain that religion once they conquered the Carpathian Basin...
