Battle of Vicksburg Weather

What if, at the Civil War Battle of Vicksburg, a large weather front passes by which fogs up the battle field. And what if the CSA knows this and takes precautions. In this WI, the Confederates win the Battle of Vicksburg.

What next? Does the Union try again?

So, in other words, Grant gets repulsed as he had been several times for the past season? He'll just try again.

a fog bank? Saves the Confederates at Vicksburg? If that fog bank brings about 100,000 reinforcements and a year's supply of food and ammo, then sure... but how likely is that? All a fog bank would do is delay Grant's victory for a few days...

Unless Grant and Sherman are somehow killed in some sort of confusion during a attack of some sort then bad weather isn't going to save Vicksburg.
