Battle of Thailand

In world war ii , Thailand sign an armistice with Japan and also granted Japan permission to use Thailand as a base of operations to invade Malaya and Burma.

However,Thai dictator Phibun had asked both the British and Americans in 1941 for guarantees of effective support if they were invaded. Neither country could give them, although British churchill was in favour of giving a public warning to Japan that an invasion of the southeast Asian kingdom would result in a declaration of war by the two countries. So British not sent any troop to help Thai army to fight against japanese army.
But If churchill sent British troop to support Thai force. Did the battle of
Burma and Malaya still happen.

It would give the Allies an addition 60,000 troops. It was not a first-rate force. While it held back the Vichy French, I'm pretty sure the Japanese wouldn't have much trouble. It would probably be enough of a speed bump to keep the British in Burma, I'm thinking.

From memory the Thais had five square divisions. That´s almost as much infantry as seven western divisions. No idea how many heavy weapons they had but the ones they had were good and it´s not like the IJA was heavy on armour and artillery either.
