Battle of Lincoln WI: Stephen killed

Lincoln, 2 February 1141-king Stephen instead of being taken prisoner is killed. What will happen next? Would his wife continue war just like in OTL, just for her son instead of her husband? Or is House of Normandy doomed and Anarchy is soon over with Empress Matilda secure as Queen of England?

If Matilda of Boulogne fought on behalf of her son as succesful like she fought for her husband when he was prisoner there is one advantage for Blois camp-young Eustace who will became new claimat for the throne for Stephen's supporters is not in captivity, but wouldn't king's death demolish support for the Blois case to the level that any attempts to win throne for Eustace will become impossible?

It would definatly cripple the Blois claim, but not destroy it completly..it largly depends how his sons handle his supporters, or least those that remain.

The big problem is still Margaret herself, as she wasnt the best person they wanted...if she abdicated for her son, i could easily see most going over to her side and we see a much earlier Angevian dynasty...but perhaps not a Angevian Empire

But Eustace was only about 12 years old in 1141, he will not regin on his own at least for few years. I wonder how his uncle Henry bishop of Winchester would behave? OTL he switched sides after battle for short time, returning to Stephen's camp the same year. Would he turn his support to Eustace in ATL circumstances or stay loyal to Empress Matilda?
