Balkan Invasion in WWII

I have noticed that on this forum the thought of an Allied invasion of the Balkans during WWII is popular amongst some members. I personally don't believe such an invasion would be successful for many reasons, but I'm willing to give it a reasonable doubt for the moment.

So, I decided to make this thread for members to hammer out how a Balkan invasion would happen, what would give it the best possible chance of succeeding, and whether or not the Allies would make any true headway.

I'm looking for people to present battle plans--where the Allies would invade, what troops would be involved, who would command, etc. If you are of the opinion that the Allies wouldn't get held up in some mountain pass in Greece or Yugoslavia and would be able to make a run for Budapest and/or Vienna, explain why you think that is feasible.
