For too long, that the people of Africa have been treated like slaves. Slaves to the Will of the white people. Slaves to the will of the people of Europa. From Britain, to the Danes, all was using the slaves for their own purposes. Some, however, fights for their freedom, or even granted freedom, as per from the British Empire's promises, regarding the freedom of these men, on which must be paid for their blood, during the American revolution. And it was somewhat fitting, considering the fact that these very men ended up spilling their blood for their British overlords, hoping for their freedom. All was eating Lord Dunmore's words. All of them believed Dunmore's words. Dunmore might have carried his words true, yet, all was lost, for the blacks. As the common people of Britain does not follow his words. The common people still regard them as animals. Slaves. Everything that could be exploited for their own devices. Everything, that they considered, as their property. Age of slavery essentially turned men into demons, and demons into men. The blurry line is crossed. Crossed to the point, where having a skin way much darker-easily could even make you considered as a spawn of the demon. This thought, however, spawns primarily from the acts of the family of Deborah and William Holmes, who considered David George, a escaped slave-who become a man of god-as a devil in disguise, all due to his black complexion(POD).
There, as William and Deborah Holmes are on their way to be saved, a small mob of men, led by one of Holmes's cousin, decided to do otherwise. Instead of disrupting the religious ceremony, the man himself believed that the devil have entered Deborah and William's soul and body. All was lost for him. All was lost for the Holmes family, afterward. The sense that the devil hides within the dark complexion of David George forced them to do the unthinkable. There, the mob quickly put a barricade to block the exit of the congregation of David George. There, they saw that everyone who believed George's words to be possessed. The only baptism known to the mob, is essentially, fire. Baptism by fire(1). Without any other words, torches began to rain over David George's house. Fire began to spread. Prayers. Screams. The sights of hell were made for both the mob and the victims. The sense of supriority have sent them into bloodlust. Those who made their way out, met the beatings of the mob, who believed them as the demons. There, death filled the air. David George, which in the future revered by the Proterrans(2) as Saint David(3), died, burned on his own beloved house, and with his beloved congregation. The very men that David revered as the flock of Jesus. The very men David have commited his life for.
For their deaths, however, sparked things unknown. Sparked things that suddenly became pressing matters for the British Empire. Sparked things that made the racial issue into a standing object on the British government. There, as the perpetrators of the incidents were hanged, the blacks of Canada staged their own riots. The whites, who believed the truth within the actions of the Shelburne Fifty(4), also decided to take up arms. Riots after riots occured within months. Months after months, small riots became something that eventually pressed the British colonial government into the edge. Talks after talks, things began to get worse, when the slaves of the Americas foolishly chooses to ran to Canada, where the fuel to the fire increasingly doubled overtime, as the populace of Canada began to accuse the British government of "Blackening"(5) the British hearts and minds. The British Empire were on their edge. Their only move, however, served more chaos than another, as the pressure they have put for the slaves on the newly fledging American state, in fact, ushered America into the British Empire's problem. There, demons have masqueraded themselves as the plantation owners, and hell became America, where the Blacks are treated less humane than on the British Empire. Slaves became more desperate on escaping to Canada, where the fuel is not only doubled, but even "Spilled". This backfiring tactics, eventually, forced the British Empire to end the conflict by creating the
Homeland Comission(6), where the Blacks of the British Empire, soon, will be sent back to Africa. Talks of ending slavery, in the other hand, began to be heard(7).
The race riots eventually ends, as the year of 1785 approaches.
Artist's representation of "Freetown", dated on 1785.
Territory of Freetown, British Empire
1785
Initially named "Freetown", the loyal blacks of the empire, not limited from the lands of Canada, were sent back to Africa. Sent back to where they are considered supposed to belong. However, this time, against all odds, the British Empire did fullfill the needs of the Blacks, this time. There, supplies(8) dwindled. The early six-hundred Africans(9), ranging from Canada-to the West Indies, arrived on early February, accompanied by fifty whites-however, just as expected, the British Empire fulfilled their promises. The whites themselves are not observers or anything. They are willing colonists, or even those who supposed to serve sentence. In a sense, Freetown quickly became the empire's dumping ground for the empire's undersirables. Let alone desirable, the talks of ending slavery were caused due to the empire seeing them as burden, not for any other causes(10). Freetown, in the other hand, against all odds, grew. Yet, with questionable odds and ends. The population were fiercely devoted to Jesus. There, men began to take arms, putting eyes on the natives around them. They also began to put their eyes on the neighboring Dutch and Portugese settlements who enslaved the native populace. However, in their eyes, its different. The natives who lived under western rule, in their eyes, is "Opressed", while the natives who enjoyed their traditional lifestyle, ironically, seen as savages. This very culture and thought, were the seeds of the future sentiment that the Proterrans held towards the true natives of Africa. Irony, in the end, have became themselves, as they saw the original natives being the actual undesirables.
Day after day, months after months, Freetown began to grew. Houses. A church. And even a graveyard, have signified the settlement's status of being alive and thriving. For every sickness and death, came a joy and birth. Farmers. Fishermen. Miners. Families. All was in due time. By the spirit of Saint David, they began to build a community for their own. The spirit of Saint David eventually filled their hearts, minds, and souls, as for them, David George was a saint and martyr, for the blacks of the British Empire. For them, the death of David George had its own double entendre. His death became something that is weeped, yet also celebrated upon. His death is the beginning of the freedom of the blacks on the North America. Sooner or later, the people of Freetown knew that they must take arms, and change the state of things to come. Yet, until the time is right and ripe, the people of Freetown decided to live like they are supposed to in the moment, living on the land they dreamed upon, with the freedom they are granted of.
The cycle, will soon repeats itself.

(POD).Just as mentioned in the first post, the POD itself is basically the Shelburne riots-gone bloody, with the riots itself spawing far more bloodier riots that occured in OTL.
(1).Eeeeeyup. In this timeline, again, it is painted by blood.
(2).AKA the people of the wanked Sierra Leone-of the future.
(3).David George will soon canonized by the pope. Soon.
