what if if Suleiman the Magnificent had better Weather in 1529 . if ottoman arrive in mid July instead mid September as OTL. ottoman win Siege of Vienna in 1529.
what are effect on Germany ?
what are effect on Protestants in Europe ?
what are effect on Austrian Hapsburg branch if it lost Vienna ?
how become king of Hungary if Hapsburg lost Vienna ?
what are ottoman next target ?

If they take it, they can't hold it for long. The best they can get out of the whole ordeal is the occupation of Royal Hungary.

Wondering myself
Luther wrote a few hymns and preached for Christian Europe to be delivered from the Turks, so I would not expect the Protestants to stab in the back the Habsburgs, rather the contrary. A common Crusade might even be a major step toward reconciliation, but this is possibly too optimistic

Yeah, the Turks as a distant distraction for the Habsburgs is one thing (something the Protestant Lords tended to like), but now the German Protestant Houses would face the real possibility, that the Turks might be on their doorstep next. Liberating Imperial territory could be an achievable goal, but I doubt there will be enough support to liberate Hungary-Croatia as well.

Hungarian protestants took a different approach, though (although a keen desire for survival was possibly mixed up with hate for Habsburgs): I am convinced that the personal input of Luther was quite significant.
I do wonder what would happen if the Ottomans had been able to attack at the peak of the 30 Years war, a century later: relations between Catholics and Protestants were much worse, and it would have been harder for the Habsburg to manage a double crisis. However the Ottomans were at their lowest at the time, and the point is moot.
