Okay, so lets say we've got some kind of Axis-wank and Japan somehow manages to invade and conquer Australia. However, its not completely ASB and Japan is unable to directly rule Australia, so they instead make it a puppet state. Who would be a good 'Quisling' for this collaborator government?
My first thought would be Eric Campbell, given his little home-grown fascist movement(s) in the New Guard and Centre Party, but I'm not sure that he'd be willing to work with the Japanese - the Nazis, probably, but I don't think he'd be willing collaborate with the 'yellow peril.'
So who else could have filled the role?
Side Question: If Japan had managed to puppet Australia, would they replace its links to the British Royal Family with links to the Japanese Imperial Dynasty? Would/Could they have gotten a member of the Royal Family to do something similar to Puyi? Or would they simply break off Australia's connection to Britain and leave it at that?
