What PODs would be required for the Australian govt to authorise military intervention to stop sectarian Muslim-on-Christian massacres in the Maluku and Sulawesi islands at some point between 2000 and 2002, instead of OTL not lifting a finger to stop the slaughter ? Could an Op-STABLISE style intervention be mounted a la East Timor based on the Howard govt's highly controversial 'deputy sheriff' doctrine, were there definitive evidence say after 9/11 of the participation of AQ or pro-AQ elements amongst the LAKSAR JIHAD Islamic extremist fighters and sympathetic members of the TNI who presided over these mass killings ?
