Australian Aborigine WI: Suppose the dingo had been fully domesticated...

Suppose that when Europeans came calling in the 1600s, the aborigines had been able to fully domesticate the dingo. The dog is extremely useful, and as a matter of fact, some Native Americans used dogs for what they would later use horses for. So, had the Aborigines of Australia possessed a dog that could be domesticated and used it for similar purposes to what Great Plains bands of Native Americans did, how would that impact Aboriginal inter-group relations and then Aboriginal-European relations?

What I didn't know until recently was that the dingos were once domesticated animals, fifteen thousand years ago. Probably at some point they went feral again.

Since the domestication of the dog was one of the first steps to building civilization, it would really help the Aboriginals. But unless it was far back enough (read: many centuries), I do not think it will matter a whole lot.
