With him dead ANatolia sued for peace, and all of ANatolia was given to the BYzantine empire, but Armenia would go to Yazdegirid. Belisaurius met with Yazdegirid who led the Persians at Yerevan, Here they agreed to launch a two fronted war on Ellak,
