Hello again ladies and gents.
I regret to inform you all that the bazaar will continue to be mostly closed for a few weeks, due to the death of my brother in Afghanistan. As I continue on this difficult process, I will afford some time to Espadas y Mariposas as well as Lion Rising, but nothing else will be continued at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

The above is my new and improved schedule, modified to both cope with my current RL situation and provide a glimpse of some of the TL's I've been working on recently. I will also be running a feature on this page once a week called "The Insiders' Menu" during which I will outline more clearly a state from one of my timelines.

ESPADAS Y MARIPOSAS: A timeline in which the Mexican war for independence fails miserably because of the whims of one general. The Anglo-Spanish September Pact becomes an international powerhouse, and the US implodes on itself.

Plausible Mexico-Wank Anyone? ;)

THE HOUNDS OF ARES: A timeline in which the Kingdom of Odrysia-the only native Thracian state with a real chance of uniting all of Thrace-allies with Macedonia and becomes a major power in the Black Sea.

NINE-THOUSAND HUMBLE LANCES: A timeline in which the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus inherits a large territory in Asia Minor and assumes a leading role amongst the Crusading States.

THE LANCE OF POSEIDON: A timeline in which the Poleis of Classical Greece unite under an unlikely joint alliance of the Athens and Sparta. The Hellenes soon find themselves conflicting with such powerful states as Macedonia, Thrace, Rome, Persia, and more.

My Imminent Return!

I'm officially returning to AH.com on Sunday on July 4th! I'm proud to make this resurgence after a long absence caused by recent family trouble, and will begin my return with this new schedule:

Invittissima: The Venetian revolution of 1848 succeeds, the Ottomons thrive, and a new movement strikes the world! (This TL will continue until completion)

Stalwart Lion Redux: Making its triumphant continuation! Do you want a powerful Ivory Coast, Communist Cuba, and "Uber-Fucking" Liberia? Read this TL! (Will continue until completion)

Lance of Poseidon: Returning with a vengeance! (Will return following the conclusion of Invittissima)

Nine Thousand Humble Lances Redux: Now free of historical inaccuracies! Three words: Crusading Leper Knights. 'Nuff said. (Will return following the conclusion of Stalwart Lion)

Peregrinos y Mariposas: Über-religious Republic of the Rio Grande? Awesome flags? Amphibious (and armored) cars? Zepplins? Yes, yes, yes, and...kinda! (Will begin following the conclusion of Lance of Poseidon)

Hounds of Ares: Thracians, Ptolemies, and Indo-Greeks oh my! (Will continue biting the skulls of weaker, southern timelines following the conclusion of Nine Thousand Humble Lances)

Yeah, I was planning on a surviving SMOM domain given to them by russia on the Pacific. I've instead decided to have the keep Tripoli instead of getting distracted ;)

As a pointer, they also held Tunis for a while. I did infact work out a short mental TL using these outposts for a Malta-Wank scenario...
