Thanks to the high number of refugees from all over the world, Australia has a pretty international cuisine. I prefer the Bratwurst which was brought over by German immigrants.
Germany is united since 1994. Until that year, there were actually three German states, because Germany split up after the Second World War, where Germany (along with much of continental Europe) suffered from nuclear destruction. But even as a united republic, Germany isn't that stable. The economy grows rather slowly, and politics can only be made, if "he" agrees with them. "He" is the President of Germany who holds the real political power.

- The United States of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) is probably the military, economic and political superpower. Simply because they stayed out of the many troubles which plagued the world after the First World War. Although it has British roots, the USANZ becomes more and more international, thanks to open-minded politicians. At least one place on earth, where politicians are actually sane.
The United States of America on the other hand, is a shadow of itself. In the 1920's, they went on war with the British Empire and France, and actually conquered Canada and their colonies in Africa. Soon, masses of Africans came over to the USA, to serve as cheap servants. Then in the 1980's, shit hit the fan. The rich white Americans had sex with African people (Doesn't matter if it was a woman or a man) who had a disease known as AIDS. Pretty big deal in the USA. Soon, mobs would hunt afro-americans, gays, and any other group that has a high risk of getting AIDS. After Pat Robertson became President in 1984, he erected many "heal camps" in the USA, and interned people with AIDS. But soon, other undesirable objects such as prostitutes or latinos were also jailed.
Another factor in the decline of the USA was its continuos wars in North Africa. They actually lost against the independence forces, a defeat which sits deep inside the American soul. The current President is Sarah Palin.
