Armenian restoration

So, let's say hypothetically an Armenian rebellion in the late 15th or early 16th century against either the Ak Koyunlu or the Safavids (respectively) is successful, and an independent Armenian state is established between Persia and the Ottomans. I know it probably wouldn't last long.

But in any case, who would the Armenians choose as their king? Would it be more likely they go for the Lusignans (there were still some around at this point) who had ruled Armenian Cilicia? Or would it be more likely they would have a homegrown Armenian king from an unknown dynasty?

There are probably several good candidates. The Zakaryanner are probably still bumming about, and there are still powerful tribes of Bagratunis (Bakrans) and Mamikonians (Mamakan) in the area, for the most part though long converted to Islam and speaking Kurdish, albeit with a tradition of Armenian descent (I'm not sure what the situation was in the 16th century; these tribes might still have been Christian and Armenian speaking at the time). Then again, the former are alleged to be descended from the Kings of Israel, and the latter (traditional leaders of the army) are said to have derived from the Chinese.
