Argentina with 100 million population

Inspired with the Canadian and Australian threads, what would be the consequences economically, politically and socially speaking if Argentina has 100 million population by having let say the French, Polish, Arab, German and British immigration were numerous as the Italian and Spanish ones. Would Argentina be industralized like what happened with the United States?

It would have to be a larger Argentina, maybe with Chile, Uruguay, Paraquay, Rio Grande de Sol, etc. But possible.

Argentina prospered in the 19th century, having GDP per capita near the US. It was the 20th century that was cruel where assorted dictators screwed up the place economically and politically made these areas toxic for foreign investment. That would have to be butterfied away or you would not see the necessary continued high immigration rates in the 20th century.

A brazilian scale immigration in the 1700 or a US scale of growth rate since the 1600s..

Spain as OTL wont do it. So you need another player. A Portugal sans Brazil that directs its people to Argentina maybe. English/French colony. A German colony going to somewhere apart enough.

But it wont be industrialized like the US. Because we lack a lot of coal, our iron is high in the Andes or deep in Patagonia and our river system is not particulary benevolent to water mills. Also we are farther from markets, execept SA and most of Africa.
