It's doable I think. Alexander dies young but with healthy young children. His generals create a regency and zones of influence but the kids are worshipped as gods. When they get older all the power is in Diadochi hands.... Probably the head diadochos, the one who controls them, subordinates the others.

But I think it more likely that this diadochos is forced to kill the kids, or is overthrown by them as they come of age and assert themselves. But anything is possible.

what about partial Eumenes victory he rescues baby Alexander but cant fully defeat the diadochi so a agreement is made Alexander remains head but the diadochi rule their zones.
