Are there any posts about the Germans not launching the Battle of the Bulge?

I know it is close to ASB to imagine not having Hitler start the big offensive in the West but are there any posts about it not happening and maybe the Germans using the husbanded forces to resist the upcoming Soviet winter offensive? Please let me know.

I believe it has been talked about I just forget the posts. Likely had the Germans husbanded their resources they could have used it to get some better result in the East, perhaps in Hungary (that that is will mean much in the end really, except perhaps putting Austria in the Allied campaign during the Cold War). If they have it for the Soviet January offensive it could either get frittered away on the defenses or perhaps used against a Soviet spearhead once that had been identified, if kept in reserve. As it was the Germans threw 450k men into the Ardennes, that was as many men as was used to defend against the Soviets in January in Poland...which means doubling their strength. Including if they used the Bodenplatte forces in the East, they'd have a formidable hammer to bring down somewhere.

There were well over 2000 AFVs that would have done significant damage to the Soviet exploitation forces had they been held in reserve and then the LW offered significant air support.
