Arabized Ottomans?

Historically arabs assimilated many different ethnic groups, especially if they converted to islam. The people of anatolia seem to have been at least religiously and linguistically assimilated multiple times throughout history, most recently by the turks. The ottoman empire at times had a large part of its population arab, used the arab alphabet, used an enormous number of arabic loanwords, and had a state religion which gave arabic a great deal of prestige.

With a POD after 1453, by 1900; could the plurality of Anatolia speak arabic as their first tongue, and arabic be used as the official state language of the supreme porte?

I'd doubt it, @John7755 يوحنا would probably know more. From my own knowledge, Turkish people basically ruled Anatolia since the 1070's, there's also the fact the Turkish speaking Seljuks conquered most of the modern day middle east, and on top of that various Turkish dynasties from Anatolia to India, who had adopted Persian as the language of administration. Perhaps because it was only in Anatolia that the Turks actually settled with a large amount of their population did the Beyliks and eventually used Turkish more commonly even in administration.

You would need to depopulate Anatolia again. Let's say that Tamerlane depopulate of western Anatolian even worse than in OTL. The Ottomans resettle large number of Arabs in the region.

What will this do the the Ottomans, I suspect very little, while the Turks was a important part of the Ottoman army, and I doubt the Arabs will do as well, the main strength of the early Ottoman was the Janissary, Kurds will still serve as efficient axillary troops. The main weakness will likely be that the Ottomans will have a worse cavalry, but I suspect that they can use Turkish mercenaries from north of the Black Sea. Of course the Turkish remnant population in the Anatolia may when they're integrated into the new Arab settlers, bring a more Turkish style of cavalry to the Arabs. In fact this may be quite likely when look at the timarli sipahi system.

I suspect that Ottoman Turkish will fall out of use, being replace by either Ottoman dialects of Arabic or Greek. I lean toward Greek. The result could be a coastal Anatolia which is still Greek speaking but Muslim. So the result will be that eastern Anatolia populated by Kurds, Arabs dominate the central area around Ankara and Greek speakers along the coastline.

I suspect that if this happens the 19th century Ottomans will sell themselves as the heir of ancient Greece, Byzantium and Rome, and try to create a Ottoman national identity based on that.

I second this motion, for the most part.

I give this a try. The Ottomans win the 1878 war against Russia, allowing them to keep control over Bosnia and Bulgaria, both great places for industrialization. It gives both the Empire room to breathe for more political and social reforms without being under siege from all sides. A Russian defeat would incentivize any unruly populations to emigrate or to accept Ottoman rule without causing further trouble down the road. As the Armenians and Greek mercantile class foster the birth of factories and coal mining (because who wouldn't want to get rich), there's a huge demand for labor. The Ottoman government encourages the internal migration of millions to leave their homes and move northward: predominately these people are young Arab men and their families who want to make a lot of money. These Arab families settle down, intermarry and beget more (partial) Arab descendants. In time, the Balkans is predominately Muslim and increasingly identifies itself as Ottoman but the Arabs are a significant part of that social fabric.
