If anybody can forward me past discussions , my POD is that the Visigoth King Wittiza lives for another thirty years (he was probably in his 20's when he died). OTL Wittiza's death triggered a succession crisis which weakened the Visgothic Kingdom, which very likely allowed for the Arab conquest of Spain to be successful. Therefore in this TL the invasion lead by Tariq ibn Ziyad is decisively defeated.
How different would this timeline be with a United powerful Spanish Kingdom in Western Europe, if the Umayyads don't attempt an another invasion of Spain.
