Now this I thought about: After defeating France, Germany would be busy imposing its will in Eastern Europe, correct? Surely the weakened and crushed armies of France will be too busy rebuilding war-damaged buildings and such to be too much of a hassle.

The only problem I face here is that Germany will likely occupy Norther France for quite some time. fascist movements aren't going to exactly be hidden or anything with German troops right there.

German occupation of Northern France will not be indefinite; I think the Germans planned to occupy it for only about 15-20 years. The French fascists need only bide their time.

Concerning Germany, you'll probably see the SPD take over post-war as the Hindenburg-Ludendorff dictatorship won't last (at least in Germany proper; it will most likely linger in the occupied East and Belgium). Since Germany won the war late, it will probably do as much as it can to avoid another one since it is rather painfully aware of the cost of a long war, even if it is victorious.

So the SPD will be appeasement-like, but not nearly as bad as Chamberlain and his lot. Germany won't give up any territory, and that's where round two will really start. Germany will probably comfort themselves by saying, "the French won't fight again. They'd have to be crazy to do that! Right...?"

Well of course. But he's been rendered powerless by this point. The Reichstag's going to have a long talk with him and demand some changes, like more power. The Kaiser probably won't be able to deny them this.

Ah that is true.

My knowledge is severely limited; does it show :p?

How much do people know about Mittleafrika? I know Mittleeuropa was an economic union, but some people I've asked say Mittleafrika was an annexation. What was it?

Okay, one more question: The Ottomans. They would have probably remained status quo, correct? Same borders and such, with possibly more control over the transcaucasus? What about Central Arabia? The region annoys the hell out of me as I simply cannot decide what would happen there. It was all empty desert mostly, right? Would the Turks have created some sort of puppet state or annexed it?

And last but not least: Japan. Japan's excursions into China; how would a different outcome of WWI change this?

Mittelsafrika; pretty much the German dream to dominate all Central Africa.

Ottomans; I guess they'd annex the Kars region and Russian Armenia (and the Dodecanese from Italy), but otherwise no changes. They'd prefer an independent Azerbaijan. I don't think they'd bother with Nejd (Central Arabia) at all.

Japan and China; There could be some butterflies in China. I guess it would very much depend on how power relations in the region evolve.

Im willing to bet that Alsace-Lorraine. Luxemburg and everything from there up will become a improved Siegfried line.

I had this idea for a TL I once planned to make. Basically, the CP-s win, France becomes revanchist, Germany defeats it again in WWII, and then the Ruskies rampage through Central Europe and reach the (improved) Siegfried Line, basically cutting off Central Europe from the West for about 50 or so years.

I mentioned earlier that if Ibn Saud continues to be a nuisance, the Ottomans would probably back Rashid against him - better a friendly neighbour than a dangerous one. It would also be a useful safety valve for soldiers and munitions who no longer have a world war to fight.
