Anybody know any good PreDreadnough sites ?

As the title says I am looking for any and all sites with information on ironclads and predreadnoughts from the 1860`s to the early twentieth century .
Are there any such sites out there ?

NavWeaps - naval weapons going back to the 19th century

a meta-site for old warships

Steel Navy - a model builders site - great levels of info, plus much clearer views than many old grainy photos. These folks are hard-core modelers, so accuracy of detail is important to them.

Thank you for the links ,though Meta-site will not load the other two look amazing .Especially Steel navy as I myself like to make models (Meaning I have made a lousy Star Trek model and am currently working on the USS Constitution)

I've got a good source for gun penetration and much armour scheme data (Brassey's naval annual) and I also recommend Warrior to Dreadnought since it handles the British Royal Navy in detail.

Hi,

I have searched both of those just, (Brassey's naval annual and Warrior to Dreadnought) but can you provide links.

Thanks.

I'm at work, and I think I may have some more at home

All pretty cursory:

Imperial High Seas Fleet
- Coastal Defense Ships (aka Pre-Dreadnoughts)

Battleship List.com

Blueprints.com - nice compendium of line drawings

Spanish American War - US Navy

Russo-Japanese War - Naval - including information on Tsushima

World Naval Ships - Austro-Hungarian Navy - mainly photos

The Edwardian Navy - Navy Records Society requires a subscription for full access to the data base.

Royal Navy Customs and Traditions - includes a nifty section on word and phrase etymology

Navypedia - French Capital Ships

Found one a while ago and have been banging my head over my desk trying to think its name .Just came up with something close enough for it to show up and here is a link .
http://navypedia.org/
Does not have anything really in depth about the ships service or anything ,mainly focusing instead on pure information regarding displacement ,armor thickness ,armament ,dimensions etc...
