Any good world war 1 or world war 2 timelines?

Unfortunately this forum has long since grown out of timeline format by large.
I recommend ongoing "Blunted Sickle" and "Keys Cruisers" That's WWII and they could be called timelines.
as for the Great War
Behold, a Pale Horse is worth looking at, not a true timeline per se, but written more like history book (still a good one), it has been discontinued (but keep thumbs crossed)
Stupid Luck and Happenstance. is a story which puts the Great War from perspective of a simple trooper. Not a timeline but definitely worth checking out.
There was one WWI scenario where Kaiser William had backed of the invading Belgium, went defensive on Western Front and offensive at Eastern one. I Highly recommend it but I cannot find it.

If you can tolerate single character or small scale ASB, that's otherwise realistic.

The Sea Eagles: A Bundesmarine ISOT

And especially

An Extremely Reluctant Fuehrer: An ISOT.

Also, An Extra Knot

What do you mean by this? I thought I wrote a WW1 one last year but maybe it wasn't the TL format.

I consider something like this a timeline:

2018
Space slugs invade earth
2019
Earthlings develop giant salters
2020
Space slugs are defeted

and something like this a story:
In 2018 space slugs invaded earth. Next year the Earthlings countered with giant salters and year afterwards managed to repel the invaders.

while if you had chapters concerning space slug physiology, economical impact of invasions, and giant salter design, I would call it a history book.

By the way since you brought this up, "Dagger held at the throat of England" is a great WWI work, even if hard to put to one shelf ;) I definitely recommend it.

So dot points is a TL but the DHATTTOE isn't because its more of a story? That's fine as a distinction, but I wouldn't knock some good stuff because of it.

Thanks, I enjoyed writing it and learned a hell of a lot.
