Any good Pre-Columbian American PODs?

The history of Pre-Columbian America is often seen as less important due to the massive catastrophes of plague and conquest that nearly destroyed the world of the Aztecs, Inca and Mississippians. What I am asking is are there any good points of divergence before Columbus' s arrival, especially those relating to politics, culture and demographics, that would have a lasting effect on the history of America into the modern day.

Examples include

The Toltecs' decline is postponed.
The Tepanecs destroy Tenochtitlan.
The Mexica never migrate into the Valley of Mexico.
Waskar defeats Atawalpa.
The Xingu peoples develop an Inca level civilization.

I've had a few ideas bouncing around my head for a while.

One concept that could be interesting to explore would be alternate migrations into Mesoamerica in place of, succeeding, or concurrent with the Uto Aztecan one. The cultural mix brought on by say Siouan, Na Dene, or maybe even Algic peoples into these urban societies might make for some fascinating speculation.

The Muisca, Sinú, and other Chibchan peoples of Colombia and Central America can also spark many divergences. They already utilized road networks and agricultural terraces OTL. These cultures could easily lead to direct interaction between the Mesoamerican and Andean spheres.

We can also explore some maritime developments. Say, the Capacha culture slowly manifests and builds up canoe and raft borne trade. Eventually they connect with the Oasisamerica cultures by sea, bringing them into the fold of west Mesoamerican metallurgy. Or in the Caribbean, maybe a Taino-Carib equivalent of the Pochteca?

One can also on theorize the effect of alternate leagues forming in say the Mississippian culture or the Haudenosaunee that leave an enduring legacy in later ideas of cooperation and exchange.

How accessible were copper, tin, and iron ores in Precolumbian North America? Scarcity and lack of draft animals seem to be the biggest problems facing the technological development of American cultures.

I wanna see a Sioux tl, like WI the Sioux or some other natives were able to survive the initial contact enough for European slowness to allow them to defend themselves?
