Anthony Albanese elected as Federal Labor Leader in 2013

The point of departure from our timeline, is that Anthony Albanese got elected as Labor leader in 2013 instead of Bill Shorten. In our timeline Anthony Albanese did get a majority of votes from the Labor party membership. However a majority of the federal parliamentary party voted for Bill Shorten, which ensured Bill Shorten got elected as leader. In this timeline Albanese wins enough from the parliamentary party to be elected as leader.

How would a Labor Party led by Anthony Albanese be different from one which was led by Bill Shorten from 2013 to 2019?

Due to Australian law Australians would be ill advised to comment. Due to board rules this will probably be closed.

Re try prior to the 1980s. Or the 80s if you feel Hawkes cabinet are past activity and you live outside Australian libel.

This is a bizarre post. However, this thread should probably be in chat none the less as it is more akin to current politics.

Agreed (on both points)
As Albanese (or Albo!) is the current Leader of the Opposition in Australia, an ATL based around this POD would be almost impossible to a write about without referencing current politics.
