Out of curiosity. If Elizabeth of York and Margaret Tudor were to both put the stop on Henry VII planning little Margaret's marriage to Louis XII. Is there a possibility of Henry bringing up Elizabeth's last remaining unmatched sister (Bridget of York, she became a nun iOTL) as a last-ditch English bridal offer?

Maggie B would block that one. Bridget was dedicated to a convent when Edward IV was still alive already. So there'd be breaking of religious vows and all that, which Maggie would be against. Not to mention there is mention in some sources of Bridget having poor health or being lightly retarded - which was one of the reasons she was dedicated.

Henry's half-hearted attempts to remarry are seen by some historians as being demonstrating that the claim to the throne came from him, not his wife. Maggie had Elizabeth of York nicely trained to walk one step behind her (so to speak) when that lady died, it's unlikely that someone like Giovanna of Naples or Margarethe of Austria would show the lady similar deference. Robert Knecht mentions how Louise de Savoie nearly had a stroke when Eleonore of Austria refused to bow and scrape to her mother-in-law the same way her predecessor, Queen Claude, had.
