I mean, I did say that in the post. Edward not liking Willy and that causing issues, along with mentioning Jackie Fisher and Churchill causing a lot of the issues with the German fleet. IIRC, Fisher was perfectly content with the idea of 'Copenhagening' the German fleet before it got to be a big threat, for example.

Yes that is a fair point. You acknowledged both sides. My reflex to oppose Wilhelm-scapegoating got the better of me.

Getting back to the OP.

Traditionally, the Fred III scenario discussion hinges on relations with Britain and Germany's constitutional set-up.

But do we have anything on the record indicative of Fred III's attitude toward Russia and Austria-Hungary?

Anything about his attitude toward Socialists? To my knowledge, Wilhelm was more tolerant of Socialists than Bismarck was.
