Anglo-American Rivalry - what will happen anyway?

hey, all. a thought occurred to me concerning Anglo-American Rivalry. i know the butterfly effect has to be taken into account--and i will be doing that for the grand scheme of the TL--but what events does everyone think/know will be inevitable concerning it? basically, what events cant possibly be butterflied away without being ASB? this would likely include a number of extinctions caused by humans that were already in progress as well as ongoing events, events that are simply too far away to be realistically affected by the POD's butterfly effects (such as in japan; i sincerely doubt the POD will affect who becomes the next shogun even with crazy butterfly effects without being ASB), and geographic events (such as, possibly, hurricane katrina, but since that is so much later than the POD, i guess that one is up in the air)

the POD is September 4, 1783, exactly one day after the Peace of Paris that ended the American Revolutionary Wars and the conflicts between European powers that transpired as a result of the ARW. thoughts?

I doubt you can butterfly away earthquakes, and while I am a proponent of butterflying away weather (since huge battles, and centres of industrialisation differ and thus put particulates into the air in different places and affect the macro over time) what you can't butterfly away is the fact there WILL be some hurricaines etc and so you have to work out whether to purely randomise these, whether to decide that pure randomness means that any one place is as likely as any other and chuck them at their OTL location, or to decide to have them where you want them for best dramatic effect...?
