Andalusian Caliphate and Native American contact

From time to time someone posts a WI about Islamic discovery of America and usually the debate is about who gets there and how they get there. The usual candidates are Islamic Spain, who is my chosen candidate for this scenario, the Ottomans backing Granada or doing it themselves or a victorious Caliphate taking over Europe and then doing it later.

So, lets assume the Ummayads keep a better hold on things in the 1000s and prevent the taifa collapse and by the Renaissance, they're still going strong in Cordova and are able to fend off Christian reconquista attempts and have retained at least some of their creativity and intellectual curiosity and sophistication.

The Caliph in Cordova sponsors maritime trade with West African gold kingdoms such as Ghana and Songhai to finance his state and the occasional skirmishes with Asturias and other adversaries.

One of these ships gets blown off course and finds either Cuba or the northern coast of Brazil or Venezuela.

What do you think Andalusian Muslim interactions with the Native Americans would be like? Forced conversion, trade, jihad against the Aztec or Inca or other wealthy empires that practice human sacrifice which is quite against Islamic morality? Where do you think the main settlements would be and do you think they would change into their own separate emirates or taifas?
