Not satisfied how my first stab at this TL worked out. I'm going to go at it differently new style, new title, new everything.

Anarchy Rules!: Once You Go Black...

... the world can never come back to the oppressive shackles we have now broken."
-Pyotr Kropotkin.
On a dark rainy night in his London home. The exiled Russian anarchist was surprised by a young visitor. The young man was angry and vindictive towards his hatred for the ruling class in power. He had been exiled recently himself. Simply on the fact of who his family was and that he was involved in a protest at school. He expressed his admirance for Pyotr's past revolutionary exploits. The boy also expressed an ideology in the teachings of Marx. Kropotkin was quite proud though how fast the young man grasped his own teachings. Over several nights of elaborate conversations. Kropotkin took on the young Vladmir Ulyanov as his assistant and student. The meeting of these two men would forever change history.

I like the concept as well. I've always wanted to see a proper one of these.

But, an anarchy TL based on the Great Man Theory of history? That's just funny to me. Not a serious complaint on it, just an humorous observation.

Please continue.

I changed it to vindictive I feel that works out more strongly. And as to the Great Man theory. Yes you could say this has it but it's not exactly that. It appears to me that Lenin was almost born to be a revolutionary. I've simply changed some circumstances so that his ideology changes. Two of the greatest socialist thinkers in the world interestingly meeting.

Promising start, but that's all you gave us! Updates should be something longer, something with meat in it, no appetizers!:D

All I meant was that just because Lenin goes anarcho doesn't necessarily mean that there will inevitable be an Union of Soviet Anarchist Republics, or whatever it could possibly be a named. I trust that you won't make him single-handedly responsible. His greatest strength was as a leader and able to convince others to follow him, so I imagine he could strongly strengthen the anarchist movement. But anarchy was and is a more strongly disdained school of thought than communism so the road may be a bit bumpier.

Again, that sounds more critical than I mean to be. This is an awesome TL idea.

I just got stoned and decided to reinvitergrate this. My next update will have more. But yes Lenin will not be the singled handed responsibility of this new socialist uprising. But only a small part an integral part still.

Yeah I'll probably blaze up in a little while and write the second part. Mostly talk about Pyotr teaching the younger Lenin. Also express Lenin's abilities as a public speaker. Edit. Oh yeah I'm still surprised no one has commented on the title I thought it was funny.

Educating the revolution..

Vlad as he went by now found himself receiving a first class education. There was no sitting in a boring classroom. Only the pleasure of learning from a revolutionary. Pyotr taught Vlad what he thought would be important. History, mathematics, literature, the arts, economics. But Vlad seemed to be most profound at public speaking.Vlad also learned several languages notably English, French, and Spanish. Vlad surprised Pyotr by spending alot of time helping him write his books. Vlad proved to have an extraodinary mind. Pyotr saw that the man's heart was growing as they spent more time around the poor English working class though. Vlad took a special interest in making speeches to English workers. Pyotr was enthused of the charismatic nature in Vlad. He managed to convey Pyotr's ideas into a way that not only the educated understood. Vlad had a rhetoric that even the most uneducated peasant could comprehend. He spoke of how the workers were only the poor uneducated slaves of the ruling class. How they should not bow down to such hypocritical governments. That the people should lead the people and the people should produce for the people. But it seemed these speeches gained the attention of the British government. Pyotr and Vlad quickly made escape to the United States the centre of the rising capitalist empires. Here they took on the identity of a semingly normal father and son for several years.

One of my fave episodes of Family Guy lol. But sorry it's still not as full as you'd like. But I'm just starting and this is really my first TL. So bare with me besides this stuff is just to kind of fill you in on the situation(btw I think those fuckers from Jersey Shore ruined this word). But once shit starts hitting the fan I'm sure I'll be really into it and come up with some nice stuff.
