Well there's the thing. It is highly likely, especially in the post war world, than an anarcho-syndicalist revolution in any of the First World states would probably be so contagious as to basically sweep through the entire First World, You're not going to get an anarchist America alone.
Just look at the revolutionary wave that the workers' councils of Russia set off, in spite of being a relatively isolated, backwards reactionary state. Have the same kind of revolution in the US, and it'd be incredibly infectious, and after WW2, with the Old Right utterly destroyed the world over, such a revolution would pull the normally social democratic consensus left into the far left very quickly.
