An Anjou empire

The Anjou are something of a fascination of mine, being a notable has been of history. There are two main families- the capetin n Anjou, which under Charles I inherited Provence thedestroyed the hohenstaufen and claimed naples. Charles was an ambitious and cruel man, desiring also yo claim Latin Rhomania and jerusalem; he failed at this and lost Sicily to the Aragonese but his descendants established themselves in Albania and share and under Louis I held the Hungarian and polish thrones. The captain Anjou went extinct in the 14th century, adopting their cousins as heirs.

The other dynasty is the valois Anjou, who made claim to naoles after Joanna died, but we're unable to just the Iberians although Provence was retained. Under Duke Rene they inheeited Lorraine through his wife yolande of aragon, who also had pretensions to the aragonese throne, but ran afoul of the burgundians who deisred lorraine for themselves. Ultimatley renes demise saw the family raoidly go extinct and their lands were confiscated by the king.

Both families were agnatic French royalty and in line for the French throne; they also maintained constant claims to Jerusalem via naples.

My challenge is this- have either the capetian or valois Anjou unite, under a single dynasty, all their real and imagined claims, meaning both sicilies, Rhomania, Hungary, France, Aragon, Jerusalem, Albania and Poland, and become the leading dynasty in Europe.

I think something more than mere bad luck finished Hungarian branch. After Charles Robert they usualy were sickly, short living and had problems with fertility. Some hereditary disease is suspected.

Yolande was Rene's mom, his wife was Isabelle, duchesse de Lorraine.

A way of uniting them:
Ladislao of Durazzo marries Mary/Hedwig of Hungary with proviso to split the empire between their sons (or a son and a daughter if they only have one boy. Daughter is then bound to wed one of the Valois Anjou princes).

Or Giovanna II marries René's dad as was originally proposed, the Angevins peacefully succeed in Naples. Their son marries Eliska of Luxemburg and gets Hungary/Bohemia.

Seems rather difficult to get BOTH Hungary/Poland/Romania AND Naples, Jerusalem, Cyprus, Aragon. Getting France would be a mere case of just outliving all the people ahead of you. Although I suspect that Europe will burst into flames trying to stop a king ruling France, Hungary AND Naples (IIRC three of the richest kingdoms in Europe at the time).

Here's my attempt
