yes, all events are RL until the point of divergence (which is the canon version from Twilight 2000 2nd edition). I tried to use as much as possible from the 'official' timeline, but adjusted things according to my reading and opinions. I gave George Bush a second term for that reason and used real life politicians instead of the fictional ones from the official version.

If I could freeze myself for a decade, ala "The Morrow Project," the 1990's would have been it. Then again, I would need to catch up on "The Simpsons" and "South Park."
