A map of an alternate Israel. it is based on a plan that was actually considered after the six-day war, where the land in the southern west-bank (Judea) was annexed and the land in the northern west-bank (Samaria) became an independent state (heavily dependent on Israel).
it's not set after the six-day war, however. the Gaza strip is Egyptian and much longer, the Golan Heights are Syrian and a lot of Arab territory from Israel is in the new Arab state, I didn't really think of a scenario for it but I could easily imagine one if the 1948 war went a bit differently and led to an alternate version of the six-day war.
I'm sorry that it's Hebrew and Arabic, but the title says "State of Israel" and the rest is just cities and compass directions.
It's oriented westwards just because I like orienting maps differently, I think it looks pretty good.
The independent State doesn't have a name (yet). It won't be called Palestine, the Israelis didn't like the concept of a Palestinian people. Samaria would be too Jewish. a name suggested in OTL was "State of Ishmael", which is cool since Ishmael is considered the Forefather of the Arabs like Israel (in his early life Jacob) is considered the forefather of the Jews.
Opinions? both on the design of the map and the idea behind it.
