an 18th century in 20th or 21th century

Ok I understand that I have to create my own timelines but right now I trying to figure out how the 18th Century style of clothes, goverment, culture and building layouts as surived into are modern times.

North America is under the British Empire since the American rebels lost the Sartoga Campain, South America and Mexico is still under Kingdom Of Spain ruled by a Viceroy of Mexico apointed by the Dons and Spanish kings.

Now the tech level is mismash of Diesalpunk and 18th Century tech, like Muzzleloaded firearms that are upgraded to the point. An example I having tech problems is the Nock Gun, to me it looks like a shotgun that fires scattershot. It's the size and length of a combat shotgun but how does one reload the Seven barrels quickly some form of cap that covers all the barrels. This is a Swashbuckling like setting skill in the sword is still useful,

You have to Kill the Industrial Revolution.
In one of My TL's I used a Massive Fire during a meeting of the Royal Society to kill off the Movers & Shakers [Industrialists, Financiers, Scientists ect.]

Um if any of you read comics Action Comics annual #6 the year of DC Comics Elseworld's annuals, that what I'm trying to do create an 18th century modern world.

The armies of this world are Napoleonic in tatics and armorment, also there hasn't bin any of the late Victorian reforms so Officiers still have to buy there ranks and common soliders are gather from the lowest class of people and are flogged for any infraction of the rules hence the name of lobsterbacks for Redcoats.

Now tech is not widespread like Autos, but Trains are but they are used for heavy loads and very limited passenger travel.

People still travel by coach and private carriage and if a native noble then they might have a desel power version of Steam gurney.

Irrelevant, the volley gun was just too uncomfortable and potentially damaging to health (the recoil into your shoulder was frankly terrific and would probably cause stress injuries in a fairly short amount of time if it wasn't capable of muscle tear or outright dislocation of the shoulder) to really be used seriously - it was abandoned pretty fast. Besides, it wasn't meant to be used as a proper gun and reloaded in combat. It was a fire-and-drop weapon, designed to clear a deck of some opponents before boarding, thus making your job easier when you as a sailor boarding an enemy vessel actually got on board your prize.

Better to forget about the weapon altogether IMO.

Hi I still need help with the setting, I would like the clothes in the 18th century style with some modern touches and fabric. Lord Darcy setting is about the 1960's were Magic is real and it's a swashbuckling world that still ruled by middleage forms of goverment.

This AH Earth would have a mix of tech levels one that I don't know what types there would be,

Have Oscar Wilde become even more important in terms of fashionability in Britain: he was very much in favour of Directoire fashion that I remember.
