American Politics and Culture in a Three Way Cold War

How would American culture and politics look like in a world where Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union existed after the end of World War Two.

To me the how/plausibility shouldn't be that important, but a starter would be a "Fortress Britain" with a restless population with Germany controlling the rest of the European continent up to a battered but still standing Soviet Union.

Also, please go easy on me, I'm kinda new posting here, and I apologize if this has been posted, the search function wasn't working for me.

how much of the USSR do the Nazis have, what happened to Japan?

A negotiated peace with the Soviets in '43, or '44 (of course this would probably mean taking Hitler out of the picture, actually, a lot of the cabinet), they get the Baltic states, but nothing too far in.

And Japan fell identically to OTL.

Hell, even I'm not so sure it could be pulled off realistically.

I doubt the USSR would come through a Nazi victory a super power and if they did come through doubtfully they'd be anti-USA, maybe not our best friends but "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

I think these threads should be helpful for you.

I say first, use one or three PODs before 1943 don't be afraid to give yourself plenty of room. Seconded, have the US only fight against Japan in the Pacific War and end it in the invasion of the Japanese mainland. With all the US resources focused on Japan it should bring the Pacific War to an end by at least 1943-44 but the casualties may be as high or higher then they were in the OTL European front and the American public could be against going into another war anytime soon. Third, delay Nuclear bombs from being built (could be explained as a lack of British-American cooperation) the latest date for this is probably in 1948 and Britain would be the first nation to have them followed by the US, USSR, and lastly Germany after a serious reorganization of its nuclear program and should have them by the early 1950's. Fourth, give no Lend Lease to the USSR as this will make it even harder for the Soviets to fight the Nazis and might accept a peace treaty. I also think that the rump USSR won't be a superpower but still a considerable power in its own right so long as it at least has European Russia.

I hope that helped.
