American Central Powers volunteers during WW1

Could you possibly get a timeline where pro-Central Powers Americans possibly volunteer to fight for Germany at the outset of WW1? Maybe a Von Stuben brigade to counter the Lafayette Escadrille or something. If there were Americans fighting for both sides I wonder if the US would be more likely to remain neutral.

If it could be arranged you would also have plenty of Irishmen willing to go fight just to try and bring down the English. And Irish Legion perhaps. If nothing else they could be a source of pro German propaganda in the US.

There were attempts, as far as I know, by German-Americans to join the German Army during the First World War though they were shot down.

American neutrality would still be contingent upon German willingness to uphold said neutrality however, and that may not be possible given that Germany was trying to knock the British out but the Americans were still shipping them foodstuffs and supplies for their war.

maybe if the US tries to enter the war on the Entree side you get another wave of draft riots and strong anti-british sentiment in the US. Maybe an earlier Tea Party but with a completely different political stance then the current one.

In 1914 a number, how many isn't known, DID join the German army.

Britain's control of communications and propaganda, not to mention the sea lanes, would probably have to be toned down greatly. Not to mention (non-German) Americans might find it harder to fight for what they see as old-fashioned militarism-monarchy over liberal democracy.
