Vermont Governor, Howard Dean, just announced his candidacy for President of the United States in the 2004 election, adding to the 9 Democratic candidates trying to unseat George W. Bush. Governor Dean formed an exploratory committee to evaluate a presidential election campaign earlier, on May of 2002. Howard Dean was previously the 76th Lieutenant governor of Vermont, and also the Chair of the National Governors Associations from 1994 to 1995.

(CNN) - Gary Hart, a former senator from Colorado has announced his intentions to run for President today at a rally in Denver. Hart, the original frontrunner for the 1988 Presidential election and a candidate in 1984, has decided to put himself back in the world of politics. Gary Hart acknowledges that the event that brought his '88 campaign crashing down will be scrutinized by political pundits and reporters once again, but he remains optimistic about the campaign.

(CNN) - Bob Graham, the influential Senator and Governor from the battleground state of Florida has officially launched his Presidential Campaign. Already operating an exploratory committee and a large fundraising operation, this official announcement from Senator Graham is not unexpected from many political pundits.
